12 Travel Essentials I’m Using in 2026 (What I Actually Pack)

If you’re searching for what to pack for travel in 2026, these are the travel essentials I’m actually using.

This isn’t a generic packing list. It’s what I pack for every trip, from long-haul flights to Europe travel, and the items that consistently make it into my carry-on.

A good carry-on backpack that fits under the seat is one of the biggest upgrades, especially for long-haul flights. Same with a proper travel wallet or clutch to keep passports, cash and documents organised instead of digging through your bag at every airport.

Sleep is another big one. A proper sleep mask makes overnight flights far more manageable, and comfortable walking shoes are non-negotiable if you’re doing Europe properly. Those are the kinds of things that stay in my rotation.

There are also a few smaller upgrades that make travel easier, like a carry-on friendly cleanser stick, a cosmetic bag that actually fits everything in one place, and simple outfit staples you can re-wear without overpacking.

This is what I actually travel with in 2026. Practical, easy to pack, and used on real trips, not just recommended for the sake of it.
